Dr. Hok Lyda serves as Centre Director of CE SAIN. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from Royal University of Agriculture; Master of Science in Agronomy from Khon Kaen University, Thailand; and Ph.D. in Environmental Systems (Environmental Soil Science) from North Carolina A&T State University, the United States. He has experience in teaching and researching and coordinating various agriculture-related research projects in Cambodia. Currently, Dr. Lyda is also a faculty member of the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA).

Dr. Lyda’s duties at CE SAIN include reporting activities to RUA Administration, External Advisory Board, and SIIL-CE SAIN Coordinator. He interacts and consults with the SIIL Director and SIIL-CE SAIN Coordinator and ensures there is an effective and active link between CE SAIN and USAID Cambodia Mission, and protocols are implemented to complete CE SAIN deliverables. He also collaborates and guides all employees in the center.
