Mon Mesa

Mr. Mon Mesa serves as an Agricultural Extension Officer at the Center of Excellence on Sustainable Agricultural Intensification and Nutrition (CE SAIN). He earned his Master’s degree in Plant Pest Science from the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture from the National University of Battambang (NUBB), Cambodia. Besides, Mesa got the opportunity to study at the International Credit Mobility, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University, Czech Republic for a year as well.

Prior to joining CE SAIN, Mesa worked as a lecturer at the National University of Battambang (NUBB) and has nominated as a practice class assistant in a course on Agricultural Pesticide. Before pursuing his Master’s degree, he worked with the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture, as a Project Field officer. On top of that, he also used to work with Bio-Agri Cambodia Company as a Research Assistant.

At CE SAIN, Mesa works directly under Provincial Agricultural Coordinator (PAC) to support working plans and developing activities. He is also responsible for extension material of Sustainable Agricultural Intensification and Nutrition (SAIN) practice and involves partners and farmers to encourage the transfer of agricultural technologies.
