BHEARD is a 3-years project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through Feed the Future Innovation Lab partnering with the Michigan State University and Impact Hub Phnom Penh. The project is to support the long-term training of agricultural researchers at the master’s and doctoral levels. Thereby lining scientific and higher education communities in Feed the Future priority countries and the United States. BHEARD is launched an agricultural research-to-market program designed to
(i) engage the private and public sector within the agricultural research system;
(ii) identify potential private/public partnership opportunities to translate research to market-ready;
(iii) introduce a competitive funding proposal process; and 4/ select winners and provide limited grant funding.
