Conservation Agriculture is a farming system that promotes minimum soil disturbance (i.e., no tillage), maintenance of a permanent soil cover, and diversification of plant species.  It enhances biodiversity and natural biological process above and below the ground surface, which contribute to increased water and nutrient use efficiency and to improved and sustained crop production.  Sustainable Intensification (SI) is a concept that aims to improve resource use efficiency and enhance productivity of farms without creating negative environmental or social impacts. SI requires the efficient use of labor and access to appropriate mechanization and tools for efficient management of agricultural land.  SI not only takes into consideration components of biophysical sciences but also social sciences to measure impacts on multiple domains of social, human condition, economic, environment, and productivity (SHEEP).  Conservation agriculture for sustainable intensification aligns with several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, is climate smart and is resilient. Under the context of CA4SI abstracts are requested on:

Submit your abstracts at Piestar RFx. Decisions on abstract acceptance is by April 15, 2022.     The SAIN3 program committee is very confident that travel in Cambodia will be allowed for Covid-19 vaccinated visitors by June 2022.  We will provide updates and confirm on or before April 30, 2022, if this is not the case.  Updates and details for the Third International Sustainable Agricultural Intensification and Nutrition Conference will be at:
