Third Quarterly Meeting of 2023 of Center of Excellence on Sustainable Intensification and Nutrition

July 18-19, 2023 – the Center of Excellence on Sustainable Agriculture Intensification and Nutrition (CE SAIN) of the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) held its third quarterly meeting in Battambang province led by Dr. Hok Lyda, Center Director. To begin with, Dr.Lyda gave a warm welcome and an opening remark for the meeting. “Our third Quarterly Meeting is the time that everyone can gather together since we mostly work on different sites and different activities but we are all under CE SAIN” added Dr. Hok Lyda. At the same time, he gave a presentation on the CE SAIN overview, goals, objectives, programs, structure, and currently implemented projects of CESAIN.

The representative of each office presents their progress of achievements, challenges, and lessons learned over the three months period from April to June 2023, plan for the next quarter, and priority plan ahead ready for the annual report of FY 2023.

Additionally, it was also an opportunity for the staff to grow their bonding with each other through the team building activity and team reflection. Everyone played games as the collaborative teamwork and the reflection of working as a team by comparing with the everyday working situation which allows everyone to find the challenges that they were facing in an everyday working situation, and altogether find and agree on solutions and common goals to make the work run smoothly and effectively.

CE SAIN team are committed to build a stronger team, as we do this, we know that this will help in build up our team to be a better and stronger team.
