Volunteer

CE SAIN and F2F Project is seeking for any kind of institutions, which involved in Agricultural Sector in Cambodia, to develop demand-driven volunteer opportunities to address gaps in production, processing, and marketing systems; integrate or expand production of vegetables, fruit and livestock within the existing systems through targeted technical assistance to increase productivity, profitability, and nutrition.
There are two main reasons that drew their attention to the F2F training. First, they were familiar with grafting fruit trees, but not vegetable grafting. It is a new and interesting technique that enables them to plant tomatoes during the rainy season. Second, this technique could add value to their horticulture studies and professional practice in the future, said Sokun Leakena (left) and Si Net (Right).

In November 2020, the Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) program, in partnership National University of Battambang (NUBB), delivered training on tomato grafting to farmers and youths in Kampingpouy Agricultural Cooperative based in Banan district, Battambang province. Two of the training participants are currently studying in year three majoring in Horticulture at NUBB.
